Some people who use norton antivirus also have mentioned having problems. I think the problem was caused by the ccleaner program's cleaning the "c:\windows\temp" folder, similar to what others have said, who use the avira antivirus program. and, even if some regkeys couldn't be restored, because they couldn't be overwritten, i don't think that is a problem. the person said that they got some kind of error-message when trying to restore some removed regkeys, but that doesn't mean the removing the regkeys caused the problem. I don't think the registry-cleaner was the cause of the problem.
